Chain of Signature
Allocating responsibility to maintain control of your shipments is a principal initiative at ATS Healthcare. Chain of Signature procedures allow us to ensure greater management and oversight of shipments of regulated substances. By requiring a Chain of Signature for every shipment, we assign personal responsibility to all people involved in the transportation and delivery of your shipment throughout delivery cycle—from drivers and facility personnel straight through to the recipient. Proof of Delivery can be confirmed through the ATS Healthcare site from the shipment tracking page.
Tracking and Geofencing
Common in today's transportation industry, GPS capabilities allow ATS to track and report on the progress of your shipment. GPS also allows the use of advanced security technologies like Geomapping and Geofencing.
Geomapping allows ATS to plan a transportation itinerary and draw a Geofence along the chosen route to be monitored. The Geofence boundary is set for each truck using a Global Positioning Device.
Should your shipment veer off its appointed route an alert notifies an ATS monitoring station enabling us to promptly respond. The driver may be contacted and in the case of accident or theft, the police can be dispatched almost immediately.
Facility Security
Security at the facility level is of great concern to healthcare and cosmetic manufacturers. Our onsite security includes the use of sign-in and out personnel and visitor tracking as well as personal metal detectors in some locations to thwart inappropriate or criminal activity within our facilities. Full camera monitoring and photo-ID pass-card systems provide an extra level security for your products. Our systems and procedures are qualified by SNC Lavalin Pharma and we offer ISO 9001:2008 certification.
