Superior temperature control and monitoring is our greatest resource to health and cosmetic companies. Every vehicle in the ATS fleet can have its temperature monitored and actively managed en route. Upon delivery, convenient printed graphs confirm your products remained within your specified tolerances and Health Canada guidelines from end-to-end.
Five sensors keep everything cool
Our trucks are equipped with four temperature sensors plus a fifth open rear door sensor. Two sensors read the temperature of the air in the truck, while the other two, filled with glycol, simulate the temperature of the product. Readings are monitored every six minutes with alarms preset at 2°C from threshold (ambient from 17°C - 23°C and cold chain from 4°C - 6°C) to prevent a deviation before it occurs. Readings from all sensors are displayed along with the speed and location of each vehicle as shown below.

The following delivery process chart outlines how ATS manages temperatures from pick-up through to delivery across a number of trucks and storage rooms on a typical delivery from Toronto to Calgary.
